Suicide bomb suspects held at Gatwick after tip-offDavid Leppard
SCOTLAND YARD is braced for a fresh wave of possible terrorist attacks against public transport after a group of suspected Islamist suicide bombers were arrested in a secret security operation at Gatwick airport.
Six Pakistani men were held under anti-terrorism laws 10 days ago after they flew in from Barcelona. The arrests were prompted by a tip-off from the Spanish intelligence services after the discovery of a suspected Al-Qaeda terror cell in the city. The cell is alleged to have planned to detonate suicide bombs on the Barcelona Metro. The Spanish warned a similar attack was being planned here.
The six Pakistanis were taken to Paddington Green police station in west London and were questioned by detectives from the Yard’s counter-terrorism unit. After being held overnight they were driven under police escort back to the airport and escorted onto a flight back to Pakistan.

The Super Tuesday Presidential Primaries have become another amnesty vote.
Throughout the campaign, Sen. McCain has said that he will legalize all illegal aliens who have not committed a felony. Between 10 and 18 million illegal aliens would qualify for his amnesty.
If McCain wins the Republican nomination, most of the media have indicated they will interpret that as a vote for McCain's pro-illegal-immigration policies. That may even embolden Congress to try again to pass an amnesty THIS year.
I'm sure you understand the urgency.
Why am I asking you to forward this to everybody? Because the polls show that most Republicans who have been voting for McCain in the previous primaries are so uninformed that they think he would be TOUGH on illegal immigration.

PARASITE WARNINGI am writing to inform all Vietnam veterans about a potential health risk that they may have been exposed to while serving in Vietnam: the little-known danger from parasites.
My husband, who was otherwise healthy, passed away on January 20, 2006, from cholangiocarcinoma, cancer of the bile duct of the liver. It is very rare in the United States, but very prevalent in Vietnam and surrounding countries. There are two known causes of this type of cancer: from contracting hepatitis C and from ingesting a parasite from the water supply in Vietnam. My husband did not have hepatitis C; therefore, it was determined that his cancer derived from a parasite. I have received official notification from the VA that his death was service related, which is not something the VA determines without an overwhelming amount of evidence.
This cancer does not manifest itself until later in life, when you are between 60 and 70 years old. Once the symptoms occur, which usually include jaundice, it is very difficult to treat or beat. My husband was 58 years old when he passed away. If he had been informed that there was a possibility that he could have ingested a parasite while serving in Vietnam, he would have taken precautions to have his bile ducts examined, possibly extending his life. The parasite is long gone, but it left behind damaged cells, which developed into cancerous tumors in the bile ducts.

We have long ago crossed over the threshold called the War of Civilizations into WW3 or WW4. However, instead of moving linearly toward confrontation as nations did in the past, we are circling toward the same end. In past wars, the clash was not only between phalanxes of armies marching toward each other but, the entire population participated. They did not really distinguish between the armies in the field when they attacked the substructures (populations) that supported the armies.
In essence, villages, town, cities were destroyed with maximum intended collateral damage. Every war had the elements of Sherman’s march to the sea. Slash and burn. Whole civilizations have disappeared in blood in straight forward confrontation.
Yes, there was subterfuge, plots in court, maneuvering both politically and militarily and all the variables that go on in the world were in the mix of war. But, in the end the clash that occurs had a certain finality. We do not have to go far back in time to demonstrate the dynamics of finality. America went to war against Germany and Japan. We fought them both in military battles but we also bombed their cities killing civilians and the infrastructure that enabled the enemy to make war. We did fire-bomb Dresden. We did bomb Nagasaki and Hiroshima with our first nuclear bombs. We destroyed their civilizations and with it the Japanese' will to continue fighting. Their purpose of war disappeared when their home-front was burning and the population suffered massive casualties. That two-front war ended with victory for the Free West and defeat for the Axis Fascists.
Then, skipping over time and history, rules of war and rules of engagement were instituted. War was to become "civilized". In some instances it worked but, more in the breach than actuality. Those rules of antiseptic war worked - in theory - but, in real wars like the Korean War and the Vietnam War, rules didn’t apply. Everyone was involved; everyone was a target, including those single high value targets which don’t end wars but are merely the bits of collateral which, when added together, are supposed to shorten the time and space between start and finish. However, without full confrontation, the surgical strikes only extended the war - especially if it was to be a war of attrition.
If this sounds like an abstract exercise in Einstein’s theorems on the space - time, time warp, in a way, it is.
Instead of the linear confrontation of past wars where the clash of civilizations was "Straight Forward", now we are coming full circle to the same place...almost.
We are approaching immutable solutions, not with what we leaning from hundred, thousands of past wars but, from a new perspective. We are going to sanitize and humanize warfare. We will mandate single strikes on known leaders and avoid collateral damage. Of course, when one uses its own people as "Human Shields", both for actual protection and for its propaganda value - then our avoidance of collateral damage is impossible.
Sounds wonderfully civilized, doesn’t it? Regrettably, it usually doesn’t work out as planned. Brilliant planners sit around, not only planning wars but, they filter their decisions and action through what will be politically acceptable.
What will the world think?
What will the Home-Front think?
Will we lose vital funding from our best friend and ally if things get nasty on CNN?
Will this or that President lose support in Congress or among their voting constituency?
Those are important factors but have little to do with winning a war or even shortening it. Rules of engagement, various treaties simply get in the way and under foot. Then solutions just fade away. Wars get longer and even more inconclusive.
At this moment in January 2008, a War of Civilizations is in violent motion. One side (Islam) is ready to fight full out, using all their human resources. Men, women, children are on all the enemies’ front lines. This side is willing to put up all its human collateral to be killed, while causing all the human collateral damage of its adversaries. This is where we hear the useless admonition: "We can’t sink to their level." Since war is inhuman and brutal on its face, we must absolutely (as it were) sink to their level....or die!
We see this in stark reality, as Islam moves with its zealous intention to conquer the world to create a Global Caliphate for Islam at whatever cost to themselves and everyone else. We, the Free West, on the other hand, are playing by so called rules of civilized engagement of warfare and thereby - are losing badly.
For example, we Americans instruct Israel to restrain herself as missiles rain down - on the average of one every 4 hours. On schools, homes, nursery schools, stores, playgrounds - which undercuts the will of the people to successfully fight a necessary, defensive, aggressive war to win! These "hits" are accompanied by sincere pledges of annihilation which must be believed. Israel selectively targets a few dozen leaders but, overall, it’s fighting a whole population, another civilization and losing.
Unfortunately, what may be referred to as civilization is a throwback to the era where entire nations and everyone in them were part of that war. Front-Rear were all one, in any way they contributed. When 9/11 occurred, New York and the entire United States were considered a viable target and the damage was supposed to be collateral.
When bombs go off in Spain, England, Scotland, Algeria, Iraq, Israel it is because it is an ancient War of Civilizations - brought forward to twenty-aught-eight (2008) and beyond. The rules of today’s restrained engagement, however, do not apply for Islam’s side of the equation. In a clash of civilizations, one side must clearly win or lose. The losing side must submit to the power of the other, with the hope that they will be treated fairly. Islam is fighting to win while we in the Free West (especially America and Israel) are in a ‘restrained’ mode, too willing to accept losses.
History of the past can be instructive. America did not enslave Germany or Japan after WW2. But, the history of Arab/Muslim conquest meant slavery, forced conversion, oppressive taxes, called "jizya" in Arabic, humiliation of the vanquished.
So, we are returning full circle to where there is no Home-Front that is immune from the effects of war. Israel cannot have her population bombed with impunity while the world expects the population centers of her enemies to remain sacrosanct, untouched.
There is an American saying: "Good losers are losers." France, England, Netherlands, Spain, Scotland - seem to have similarly accepted the road to being "good losers". We observe President George W. Bush backing away, seemingly willing to replace the fields of stars on the American flag with the crescent moon symbol and the single star of Islam. This President might be acting like a loser. The winner will probably be either a tyrannical ruler or a benevolent ruler.
Make a choice: Live or Die!
One last kicker: IF the Free West’s adversaries get away with defeating and demolishing Israel, any of the other Free West’s countries will be next, consecutive or coincidental. So, it is in everyone’s best interest (if they are not Muslims) to protect the tiny Jewish State - in their own best interests.
The old ways of war had a certain symmetry. There were winners and losers, conclusively - with no half way measures. It all came down to whole populations accepting their fate. Islam has challenged the Judeo/Christian ethos all over the planet. They have both motivation and a head start. Our choice is accepting the blowing up of our families or the blowing up of theirs. A bad choice but, if you didn’t start Armageddon, why die with your pride intact, following rules of acceptable national suicide?
Better to fight short, brutal wars than to slowly bleed to death by wars of a thousand cuts...especially for the small nation of Israel.

I pass this along in the event you have similar issues now or may have in the future. We have seen the advent of three armored vehicles arrive on our doorstop, all of which are being operated by serious and well known gangsters.
While we have sent a few updates on our guns and gangs situation along to you, here is a real example of how lucrative and yet deadly this issue has become. About 6 weeks ago, right in the middle of what seemed like a daily series of gun battles, we had one in Coquitlam.
It was Independent Soldiers vs. UN Gang and it was a day later that two more were found dead, shot to death in their car in South Vancouver. The Coquitlam case had the suspects in two vehicles...a Maserati and a fully armored Cadillac Escalade.
The Cadillac was eventually stopped just inside New Westminster and taken down Code 5. The members could not believe the level of expertise that went into creating this suspect driven crime vehicle fully arnored from front to rear, including firing ports out the back. We have attached three photos which depict the armor.
Interestingly, our members had to rely upon the regulatory sections of Motor Vehicle Act and Federal Vehicle Safety Standards to secure the vehicle as un-roadworthy. It was overweight due to the armor and the windows did not conform to national standards they did not shatter under pressure/impact)
We have had a total of three such vehicles seized out here in as many months including a fully armored BMW luxury sedan.

Next, Canadian columnist Mark Steyn quotes Kreker’s “mosquitoes” comment - and accurately.
This time, Muslim groups in Canada do complain -against Steyn. And it gets worse, as Steyn writes: "They’re objecting to a Canadian magazine quoting accurately the statements of leading Muslims. And at least two of Canada’s “human rights” commissions, to their shame, have accepted their absurd proposition that accurately quoting leading Muslims is somehow “Islamophobic.”
The complainants ... and their friends at the Canadian Islamic Congress are seemingly not interested in stimulating debate, but only in shutting it down, by making it more trouble than it’s worth for editors to run articles on one of the central questions of the age: Islam’s relationship with a dying West. In using quasi-judicial coercion to squash debate, they make one of the central points of my argument—that a proportion of Islam is inimical to western traditions of freedom—more eloquently than I ever could.
But worse than the complaints is that these attempts by Muslim “leaders” to stop writers from accurately quoting other Muslim “leaders” are now backed by government bodies which were meant to protect human rights, not to help newcomers destroy them.
